Why Pricing Transparency Matters to Me as an ICF Mentor Coach
One of the pieces of feedback I’ve heard multiple times recently from new mentor coaching clients is this:
“I appreciated that your pricing was visible on your website.”
And honestly?
That means a lot to me.
Because transparency isn’t just something I value in pricing.
It’s something I value deeply in coaching relationships too.
Why I Choose to Share My Pricing Publicly
There’s a lot of advice online that says coaches shouldn’t put their prices on their websites.
That it’s “better for conversion” to get people on a call first.
But for me, hiding pricing has never felt aligned.
Especially in mentor coaching.
Most coaches reaching out for support are already navigating:
uncertainty around ACC renewal or PCC preparation
vulnerability around their coaching skills
questions about whether they’re “good enough”
financial considerations around investing in development
The last thing I want is for someone to feel unsure about whether they can even afford to work with me before they reach out.
Visible pricing creates clarity.
And clarity helps people make grounded decisions.
Not rushed ones.
Not pressured ones.
Just informed decisions.
Transparency Is Also Part of How I Coach
This value shows up in my coaching too.
If I notice something in a session, I’ll say it.
If I think a coach is moving away from depth, softening a challenge, or missing an opportunity for exploration, we’ll talk about it openly.
Not critically.
Not harshly.
But honestly.
Because mentor coaching only works when there’s enough trust and transparency to look clearly at what’s actually happening.
And that goes both ways.
If a session isn’t meeting a client’s needs, I want us to be able to talk about that too.
If something I say lands poorly, I want that addressed openly as well.
I don’t believe mentor coaching should feel performative or overly polished.
I think the best coaching relationships are collaborative, honest, and grounded in real conversations.
What My Mentor Coaching Packages Look Like
I work primarily with coaches pursuing or renewing their ACC credential through the International Coaching Federation.
My mentor coaching focuses heavily on:
reviewing real coaching sessions
aligning coaching with the ICF Core Competencies and PCC markers
identifying opportunities for deeper exploration and client growth
helping coaches feel more confident and intentional in their sessions
Here’s an overview of my current mentor coaching options:
ACC Renewal — 10 Hours Mentor Coaching (1:1)
$1750 USD paid in full
or
4 monthly payments of $450 USD
Includes:
10 private Zoom sessions (60 minutes each)
Sessions spread across a minimum of 3 months to meet ICF requirements
This option works well for coaches who want:
consistent support over time
deeper skill development
ongoing feedback on their coaching sessions
accountability and structure through the renewal process
ACC Renewal — Required 3 Hours (1:1, 2-Month Structure)
$700 USD paid in full
or
2 monthly payments of $375 USD (total $750 USD)
Includes:
3 private Zoom sessions (60 minutes each)
Many coaches choose this option when they are combining:
3 hours of private mentor coaching
with7 hours of group mentor coaching
to complete the total 10-hour ICF requirement.
Why I Structure My Work This Way
I’ve found that coaches grow best when mentor coaching feels:
supportive
practical
and integrated into their real coaching work
Not rushed.
Not performative.
Not about “checking boxes.”
That’s also why I strongly encourage working with real coaching recordings or transcripts whenever possible.
The biggest shifts usually happen when we slow down actual moments from your sessions and explore:
where depth could have gone further
where trust in the client could deepen
and how small changes can significantly impact the outcome of a conversation
Final Thoughts
Transparency matters to me because coaching relationships require trust.
And trust grows faster when expectations are clear.
Clear pricing.
Clear structure.
Clear conversations.
I’ve found that when coaches know:
what support looks like
how sessions work
and what investment is involved
they’re able to focus less on uncertainty—and more on their growth.
And ultimately, that’s the part that matters most.
